Survey for Parents of Students with an Individual Educational Plan (IEP)
in Exceptional Student Education (ESE)

The Florida Department of Education is conducting a survey designed to provide the state with information on how well schools are supporting parents’ involvement in their child’s education. The responses to the survey provide important information for planning and monitoring improvement activities. This survey, conducted once a year, provides parents with a unique opportunity to be heard. The survey is available for all parents of children with disabilities and a current IEP in grades preschool to 12. ( Note: This survey is not about the gifted programs and services.)

Go online to www.ESEsurvey.com to complete the survey. The survey can be completed February 1 through June 30, 2011.
