- Welcome to
a
new and exciting 2011-2012 school year. We are looking forward to
working
together with you to make this the best year ever for the students. In
conjunction
with Summers faculty and staff, we will be providing monthly
newsletters.
These will inform you of school happenings and will also be a way for
you
to respond with an idea or an opportunity to volunteer for an event.
Your
suggestions are important to us.
- All parents and teachers are urged
to
get involved! As you know, we have several fundraisers throughout the
year.
Every bit of this money goes directly back into your school. Some of
the
things we have done in the past with funds raised by our organization
are:
the information sign in front of the school, ribbons for academic
olympics,
field day t-shirts for fifth grade, writers conference, trophies for
math
superstars, appreciation brunches for teachers, fifth grade planners
and
treasure boxes.
- Your help, whether it is through
volunteering
or supporting the fundraisers, is very appreciated!
